New Patient Consultation

A New Patient Consultation will take 30 minutes, during your visit you can discuss any problems or concerns you have about your teeth, your dentist will give your mouth and teeth a full examination, take x-rays or study models if necessary, then discuss your treatment plan and options, they will give you an estimate of treatment costs and how many appointments you will need to make your mouth healthy.

Children on the NHS

Yarde House take on New Children on the NHS.

Children under 18 will be seen on the NHS, routine examinations are recommended to prevent any problems in the future, your dentist will advise you on any preventative measures you and your child can take to prevent decay.

Routine Examinations

A Routine examination will take 15 minutes, during your visit you can discuss any problems or concerns you may have about your teeth and gums, routine examinations are essential to help keep your mouth and teeth healthy. Your dentist will advise of treatment needed, and give you an estimate of treatment costs.

Hygienist/ therapist

A visit to our hygienist is for 20 minutes, your dentist will prescribe a treatment plan for you. Your hygienist will scale and clean your teeth and gum, give you advice on how to clean your teeth and dietary advice if needed, visiting your hygienist is an essential part of keeping your mouth and teeth healthy.

Crowns

Nervous Patients

Dental phobia is a serious condition that affects a large proportion of the population, at Yarde House we take this condition very seriously and sympathetically, if you feel fearful or anxious about visiting the dentist please contact our reception staff who will be happy to discuss your issues. They will then book an appropriate appointment with your dentist. There are several options for patients who are fearful and anxious, your dentist will listen to your concerns and advise you on the best way forward. Mr Arnold offers sedation, which will put you into a relaxed state, it is a very effective treatment for Nervous Patients.

Implants

Dental implants can be used for people who have lost their teeth, a dental implant is a replacement for the root portion of your natural tooth and anchored into your bone, to support a bridge or denture. Dental implants provide a longer term solution, slow done bone loss and preserve nearby healthy tissue.
